To provide context for the album ‘Understanding’, and to release songs that wouldn’t otherwise see the light of day or will someday become fully formed, we’re happy to announce the release of ‘Understanding: Sketches'. This curated album contains a varied collection of 18 songs, some of which are new, and some which were conceptualized when Pacific Garden was in its infancy.
The album art shown is a lithographic print—made by a process of acid etching and rolling ink on a limestone slab—which was later scanned and digitally colored to become the album art for the ‘Understanding' LP.
If you're reading this, we want to thank you for your support. As a band, we're just getting started. There is much more to anticipate from Pacific Garden. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this collection of songs as it marks where we’ve been, and the trajectory of where we’re headed.
